Bright Futures is excited to offer a summer 2025 Peer Group for children ages 8-11.
The goal of this neuro-diversity affirming group is to develop self-esteem, unmask, build relationships with others, learn self-advocacy skills, develop conflict resolution skills and learn how to work successfully as a group. Participants will work on conversational skills while sharing their interests and unique skill sets. Sensory preferences will be honored and participants are encouraged to show up authentically.
Participants should have conversational speech, be independent with toilet training, and display behavior appropriate for being in a group with other children.
The group is led by an experienced speech-language pathologist and there will be a trained high school assistant. This is a drop off group.
